Employment Opportunity

J Robinson Art is currently looking to create an on-call list of "At-Will" employees who must be 18 years and older that can assist in our painting workshops.  It is the policy of J Robinson Art, LLC to provide equal opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to any legally protected status such as race, color, religion, gender, orientation, national origin, age, disability or veteran status.

We are looking for You

Of course we will take anyone with art experience however, candidates do not have to have an art background to apply.  What you must be is 18 years and older and possess a willingness to learn, have empathy and compassion when working with people.   We can really use anyone who has worked in the health care or home care industry as those backgrounds promote an understanding and patience that can prove to be very helpful to our organization.  That is not a requirement nor a disqualification if you do not have art or healthcare experience.

Our vetting process does require you have no drug or alcohol issues or convictions as finding assignments for you may prove to be extremely difficult.  All approved parties will be given a copy of our standard operating procedures, guidelines, dress code and code of conduct.

What you can expect

If an employment relationship is created, you must fully understand that unless J Robinson Art offers a specific written contract of employment with us our employment relationship will be “at-will.” In other words, the relationship will be entirely voluntary in nature, and either J Robinson Art or you will be able to terminate the relationship at any time without cause.  With appropriate notice, any employee under this agreement will have the full and complete discretion to end the employment relationship.  More on this will be in detail in your welcome packet.

How it works

When you are selected be on our on-call list, an email will be sent to you showing all the dates and times work will be available.  It will then be up to you to email back the exact dates and times you are available for work.  You will get a confirmation email to tell you the dates you have been placed on call or stand-by.   On call signifies the slot is yours as on stand-by means your next on this list for that date.

Two days (2) prior to the actual scheduled date you will get a reconfirmation email to reconfirm that in fact you are still available.  If you decline or do not respond we will send you a cancellation email and we will contact the stand-by to fill that slot.  It is important that you reconfirm in a timely manner.  You will still be our first choice on any other dates you have confirmed as the process for all dates will be the same.

Basic requirements

There is a no blue jeans, shorts, sandals or open toed shoe policy when working on assignment.  You will be required to wear a T-Shirt or Polo Shirt appropriate to the dress code and branding of J Robinson Art.  More on the dress code will be in your welcome packet.
