Italy Scene takes me back to my time in the Military U.S. Navy.  I had the opportunity to. be temporarily stationed in La Maddalena Italy off the corsica islands.  The beauty of the area stayed with me my whole life.  This painting of Venus was my way of remembering that wonderful part of the world and being able to capture a glimpse of its wonder.
