For the past five years, he’s focused on teaching art to adults of all experience levels, helping students build skills, confidence, and a joyful creative practice.

James believes that art should feel approachable, not intimidating. His classes are designed to take the pressure off, making it easy for beginners to dive in, have fun, and surprise themselves with what they can create. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or rediscovering your creative side, James brings encouragement, clarity, and a love of the process to every lesson.

When he’s not painting or teaching, you’ll find James exploring color palettes of nature, sharing tips with fellow artists, or working on his next course to help others grow their artistic voice.
