In just 15 minutes, you’ll learn the essential materials and foundational techniques every watercolor artist needs.
This self-paced course covers:
- Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques
- Flat and graded washes
- Lifting and glazing methods
- How to choose basic supplies
You’ll get hands-on practice with each technique and apply what you've learned in a final landscape painting — your first finished piece and a creative milestone. Supplies Needed:
- 140 lb or 300 gsm watercolor paper
- Medium or #6 round brush Watercolors (red, blue, yellow)
- Paint palette
- Papertowels
- Two cups or bowls of water
- (optional: masking or painters tape)
